Unconditional (a Memoir)

Autobiographical piece, about 14,000 words, published in the online supplement to Poetica Magazine in 2014 for its Holocaust edition. The memoir details growing up in Chicago and Memphis in the late 1940s and 1950s as a “child of the Holocaust.” Things are not always what they seem to be, and people are not always as committed as they claim to be.
